On Nov. 5, 2002 Did We Just Witness
Another Illegal COUP D'ETAT in America ?
Did
the Democrats ACTUALLY WIN several key races on November 5, but rigged
vote-counting made it APPEAR otherwise?
'Conveniently' with
no VNS exit polls there was no
data to compare with the "official results".
With a huge budget and two years to plan this
they chose to back out at the last minute,
even though this meant paying huge refunds to
19 newspapers, and to TV networks.
Below are the FACTS about the rigged touch-screen
electronic voting machines and how the
companies owned by extremist right-wingers falsified
election results to favor the Republicans.

There was one other great message from this election. On Wednesday morning I
watched a crawl on the bottom
of the CNN news screen. It said, "Proprietary software may make inspection of
electronic voting systems
impossible." It was the final and absolute coronation of corporate rights over
democracy; of money over truth;
and of man's self-destructive fears over the best parts of the human heart.
I note with irony the fact that much of the new software to resolve voting
issues is either created by Microsoft
and/or the companies that own and sell the voting machines, including one with
investments from the Rothschild
family. These are the same firms connected to the election debacle of 2000. Some
even have Bush family
connections. And here we see the final purpose of the 2000 Florida voting
scandals: In order to prevent the same
kind of hanging-chad confusion, we now have electronic machines so the problem
won't occur again, and the
results have been forever totally removed from public scrutiny.
And wasn't it convenient that Voters News Service decided at the last minute
that there would be no exit polling this
year. Exit polling was a reliable standard against which the numbers from the
voting machines could be compared.
Some will take issue with me and say, "Mike, how can you blame the American
people and say that the voting
machines are rigged at the same time?" Easy, I answer. Today there was nobody in
the streets. There was no public outcry.
There was no revolt or outrage. All that has happened is that one more time a
people has avoided responsibility and
retreated in the hope that some other half-measured, half-willed, half-hearted,
childish tactic will produce results in a world
that no longer exists ... and probably hasn't for a long, long time.

Third, and most explosive, the results lack ANY credibility. Too much massive
voter fraud has been exposed to
take them seriously. As I said before, it's more than passing strange that
wherever the selected Corporate
President went, Republican victory was sure to follow. ......
It's also highly suspicious that the last-minute abandonment by the Voter News
Service of exit polls would help
smooth over any overly egregious voting hanky panky. Technical "glitches" are
always an easy excuse for planned
disenfranchisement.
As Greg Palast has reported, and as
Michael Rivero
has documented, massive voter fraud was being planned for months.
The fix was in.
As far as I'm concerned, the US has now been officially US-urped by a
neo-fascist administration bent on global
domination and the installation of a domestic police state. Their ability to
stack the judiciary with extremist
supporters is perhaps the scariest scenario envisioned. Imagine: the far right
now has at their disposal the tools
to remake the social fabric of America in their vision, one which mixes
corporate rapine and theological supremacy
with a global militaristic agenda.
You can take the following statement to the bank: any serious, independent, open
and accountable investigations
into 9-11, corporate crime, the sniper shootings, the anthrax murders or
anything else that might cast aspersions
on the honesty or decency of this corrupt administration is dead in the water. I
guarantee it.

But did they really "win" all those races? Can
someone investigate the company that makes the electronic voting
machines? Isn't one such company whose machines were used in Florida yesterday,
connected to the GOP? It
would be fairly easy to write self-erasing code that could alter the actual
tabulation figures and would be clocked
to election day, undetectable the day after. I do not put this type of
fraud beyond the GOP. They are capable of
far worse and perhaps they have done far worse recently.
RE: VOTING MACHINES: Attempts were made to
examine the code used in the machines in Florida. The attempt
was blocked in the courts by the GOP citing "proprietary/trade secrecy"
protections under law. Upshot is that the
DNC could not ascertain how the machines tabulated votes and how accurately. As
mentioned above: it is easy to
write code to alter tabulations in any number of ways. A scary thought: why
did VNS suddenly fail to release exit
poll data? Could it have been in wide variance with machine tabulated
results?
Why does the news media get to "call" the
elections? Why do the Republicans have the "keys to the kingdom" in
the form of the voting machines (ES&S)? We need to ask some critical questions
about how the machines are
"programmed" and WHY THERE IS NO PUBLIC OVERSIGHT of these machines.

God help us all.. for we will be in a global war
before too long... the rich get richer..the poor get poorer.. it has
always been this way when the Party of dirty tricks is in office... I get the
feeling there was some vote fixing done
too.. just as in Florida... We are really in for it now.... I wish I could find
an island to go live on.. away from all this

Was it fixed from the start?
How did the election results, in almost every case in the formerly close races,
skew so wildly
from pre-11/5 predictions, and always to the Republican side? Why is no one
asking this?
All night long, NH, GA (2x), CO, FL, TX, the alleged results seemed to have no
relationship to
what pollsters had suggested we could expect. Once or twice I understand, but
all night long?
I know that GA and FL switched to the highly suspect voting machine/black box
technology -- others?
We already know They Will Do Anything (note where I am writing from).
And on behalf of my state, I am so sorry. It makes no sense to me. We did not
deliver.

Then how can we tell if the "fix was in?" An examination of exit polling and
pre-election polling versus election
results could raise a few red flags.
We can't use Voter News Service (VNS) this year. VNS is a top-secret private
consortium owned by ABC News,
The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC News that has "projected"
election night winners
since 1964. VNS collapsed camp on election day due to technical problems... they
said. Or was it the glare of
publicity since the 2000 presidential election that brought the charade to an
end? Questions have been raised
since its inception, that VNS was a cover for election day vote rigging or other
shenanigans. And it was strange
that when VNS management made its announcement on Tuesday, they didn't make a
big deal over how the
shutdown affected the 64,000 temporary employees they claim they hired for this
election.

Voter News Service (VNS) is a top-secret
private consortium owned by ABC News, The Associated Press, CBS News,
CNN, Fox News, and NBC News. It's current headquarters is in Brooklyn, New York.
It's been around (under different
names) since 1964. It's the only company whose exit poll results are used by the
news media to announce the
"projected" winners in races for the president, U.S. House and Senate, state
governors, and select races.
By 1964, computers were used to predict election outcomes, as well as to count
votes on "punch cards." With the
use of computerized vote counters and the news networks exclusive control over
polling data in major elections,
the gates to election fraud were wide open. Computerized voting machines have
now made election fraud as easy
as stealing candy from a baby. . . . . . . .
If VNS is helping to rig elections, why are they doing it? Generally speaking...
I believe that the same people who
can't rake in enough money, also can't get enough power. The news networks are
owned lock, stock, and barrel by
the richest corporations and individuals in the world. They certainly have an
agenda. Their arrogance and disregard
for the little guy is clear. They may think that we're not smart enough to pick
the 'right' kind of leaders... right for
them, that is. So they might try to do it for us.
Voter News Service warrants an investigation. Its operations should be shut down
regardless. It's in a perfect
position to sabotage the election process. Let the counties count the vote and
report it to the states. If it takes a
day or two for the states to report the results... so be it. Democracy takes
time.
Meanwhile, we should bring back hand-counted paper ballots and use computerized
voting machines for
confirmation purposes only. If we don't take these precautions, we may continue
to have our corporate-owned
media, corrupt government officials, and crooked voting machine companies
electing our leaders for us.

There is no transparency to VNS. Shapiro will not tell you how big their budget
is, nor who hires the 64,000 people
she claims they use on election night to collect exit polling data, nor will she
give you any proof that these 64,000
employees exist...no phone logs, no emails lists, no documents to prove that
they do what they say they do.

ON SCRAPPING THE EXIT POLLS
I'm astounded that no one finds this to be of any interest. If you're going to
fix an election one thing you need
to worry about is an outside party monitoring that election and using
well-established and accepted methods
of predicting its outcome. Suppose the consortium had McBride beating Bush by 5%
and yet Bush was declared
the winner. Two possibilities: either the exit polling methodology was flawed or
the election was stolen.
Are we to believe that a consortium of the nation's most prominent news
organizations is so incompetent as to
have this happen to them?

Maybe I am an overly-paranoid conspiracy theorist, but am I the only one who
finds it slightly suspicious that
some sort of computer glitch eliminated all the exit polls for this election?
Perhaps if there were widespread
discrepancies between the missing exit polls and the actual election results, it
would draw attention to the
possibility that the elections were "fraudulent, rigged, or tampered with."

Right, my fear exactly. Although it would probably have to be more subtle -
like, only change one every 5th one.
Congress could force these companies to submit current source code as a
pre-condition, if they wanted to.
Congress could keep it secret, so the copyright and trade secret laws would not
be infringed. The Senators or
whatever would have to sign non-disclosure agreements... there's no valid reason
this code is not checked for
accurary.
Which leaves only invalid reasons for not checking the code - and that would be
that they do have ways to
monkey with the votes.

The code behind exit poll tabulation is astoundingly simple to write. And the
more simple it is, the less error prone.
Why, with two years and millions (billions?) of dollars could they not get it
right? When I took Oracle 8i, we were
taught DB querying on the first day, and produced percentage based results the
first week.
This story is hole-ier than a hula-hoop.

The likely truth is that the "invalid numbers" were showing the opposite of the
intended result. Better to just
throw the whole notion of "asking voters who they voted for" out the window with
a cheesy and unbelievable
excuse, and rely on known methods such as stolen ballot boxes and outright
fraudulent punch machines and the
like.
THOSE methods have been working for millenia, and that is why the VNS fell back
on them, as opposed to
exposing the FACT the fraud starts and ends at the tippity-top.

Been watching results on the tube - early indications are frighteningly pointing
to a republican congress, but
common sense says such is fraud. There's no way I'm "buying" this, and here's
why:
1. Americans rarely vote same party congress, and president.
2. The people are strongly divided on the democrat vs republican congress even
if one takes the mainstream
media polls at their word. It's more likely the majority disapproves of Bush.
3. Voter turn out was high - higher in fact than expected. This means more
democrats turned out to the polls -
republicans usually turn out anyway so they could not be responsible for the
higher overall polls turn out.
Conclusion - America has turned to the dark side. We are under dictatorship. We
have been under dictatorship
since Bush came into office. This is why FEMA was allocated what? 6 billion
dollars. This is why internment camps.
This is why police increasingly outfitted as military. This is why urban
military training. This is why urban unrest
training. This is why my brother in law, a former national guardsman is now a
city police officer. This is why police
agency consolidation. This is why homeland security. We the people are now we
the enemy.
