WEALTH, TRICKLE DOWN TAX BURDEN TO THE MIDDLE CLASS!
It's a sad day for the
environment, reproductive rights, civil liberties, freedom of thought, economic
prosperity,
social services, charity and pretty much everything else that's good. Maybe
the next couple of years will be a
wake up call to the idle American electorate (if you can call people whose votes
don't get counted an
"electorate"). In the meantime, people are going to suffer (and I'm not just
talking about innocent Iraqi school
kids).
All Bush talks about is a
bloody war with Iraq, and the Dems just go along! We ALL knew that Iraq was
contrived to divert attention from 401-K's being decimated, over 2 million jobs
lost, and the biggest budget
surplus in history handed to the wealthiest 1%.
ECONOMY IN SHAMBLES, EVER
INCREASING DEFICITS, MASSIVE DISPARITIES BETWEEN RICH AND POOR,
A FAILED WAR AGAINST TERRORISM AND AN INSANE WAR AGAINST IRAQ, THESE IDIOTS
CANNOT
SUCCESSFULLY ENGAGE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. NOT ONLY IS THE COUNTRY RUN BY A BUNCH
OF RACIST
CORPORATE RUBES, BUT THERE IS NOT A CLEAR OPPOSITION PARTY.
Will all those Republicans
be there to unload the body bags of our sons that Bush and
cronies kill? No, and the
Democrats are to blame for the Republicans gaining power to
kill our children. They spent too much too trying
to kiss up to Bush instead of reminding
people that a drug addict is leading us to war.
The worst thing that could
have happened was to unleash the Bush War machine, the anti-female,
anti-liberal,
anti-common sense Republicans. There is no place in the US that is safe for a
person to vent feelings WITHOUT
FEAR OF PROSECUTION AND INCARCERATION BY THIS BUNCH OF NAZIS IN WASHINGTON.
The reign of terror begins
today. Abortion will be outlawed, handgun ownership will be mandatory, judges
will all
be to the right of Attila the Hun, the streets will be crammed with crazy,
despairing homeless and Iraq will be
reduced to a charred, smoking cinder. The only hope we have is that Robert Byrd
can filibuster for the next two
years without stopping to go to the bathroom.
I am
stunned....no...disgusted at the obvious apathy infecting
this country. Get ready for the invasion and
colonization of Iraq, get ready
for Roe v Wade to be overturned, get ready for unchallenged
despoiling of our
environment....... The surplus is gone, the economy in the toilet, unemployment
is high, retirement plans shattered,
we suffered our first major attack since 1941 after the administration announced
they
weren't going to be involved
in the Middle East (sounds like, Sharon, the
butcher of Lebanon, will have free rein), we spend a year mucking
about in
Afghanistan and accomplish nothing, we alienate the entire world, may well
attack a country whose
leadership is neither ideological or Religious
zealots and threaten us in no way.
I feel like I'm living a
nightmare. The republicans are in control. Say hello to World War III and
goodbye to the
woman's right to choose.
And say "bye-bye" to the
Bill of Rights, too!

(The Media)
The media is also to blame.
Bush would be defeated in a landslide in 2004 if the media stopped editing out
his
idiotic statements. If they took an active, anti-Bush stance like they did with
Clinton, he might even be impeached.
The economy, after an initial false burst of "improvement," will continue down
the toilet for everyone except the
richest 5%. The body bags will arrive, and with them the street demonstrations,
and counter-demonstrations.
The Dems never had a chance.
Their "centrist" candidates were vilified, lied about, and set-up by the
corporate-owned media. Imagine what would happen if they ran "progressive"
candidates. Face up to it, we live in
a country dominated by the media. It was fun when there was a genuine mix of
minds on the airwaves; but now
there is one voice, talking incessantly, defining the moments and the outcomes.
We can't beat it. We have to leave
it. Turn off your television. Cancel your newspaper; it's full of crap. Use the
Internet. Become an organizer. It is
truly the only hope.
But, there is also blame to
be laid on the media, who has never taken GW to task as it did President
Clinton. If
Clinton passed gas, the entire media brought it to the attention of America,
pointing out the dire consequences
of the act. Bush strangles the entire world, and the media either ignores it, or
praises his courage.
As long as conservatives
control the media and it's talking heads, we are screwed, blue'd, and tattoo'd...No
matter
what Democrats do the media tells only the conservative side and denigrates the
liberal side. The Bushies
understand that the 1st thing you do to take over a country is to take over the
media outlets...and they have done
so....Look at any dictatorship and their media.
If this site is for real,
then let's look at the real enemy. The right wing media, the official arm of the
Bush White
House. We blamed Gore because his presidency was stolen. Now we blame the
Democrats because they were
assassinated by the media and the Republicans (one maybe literally so). The
media and the GOP are the enemy.
Wake up!
The corrupt Bush
successfully exploited 9/11 for his political benefit. Even Iraq was politically
timed to influence the
elections. In combination with huge Republican campaign funds, we now have dark
ages, Limbaugh-like mentality
controlling everything. At least the Republicans will be showcased as they
pursue their agenda of corporate
welfare, policy for sale (campaign contributions), deficits, the economy,
coddling of the rich, ultraconservative
judges, and non-interest in prescriptions, health care and Social Security.
Hold them accountable!!
Since the impeachment of
Clinton the media have become another arm of the pig party. Special graphics,
24/7
coverage of blue Gap dresses, body language experts were consistently used to
paint Clinton as Satan. Yet, the
1st Idiot gets a free pass on EVERYTHING! I watch cable news astonished and
floored by the biased coverage.
From the vapid radio shows to Imus, it never stops.

Attorney General's office shredding the Constitution, Bush will soon be
dictator. Will
America wake up when the unemployment jumps, body bags start coming home from
Iraq, & terrorists step up
attacks here. When will they realize it is stupid to let the oil industry run
the country? Why can’t we have honest
politicians that aren’t owned by business?
Greed, violence, and hatred,
is the path that Bush has choosen for America. This is what breeds terrorism.
It's a
sad day for this country.

shebang! Americans are morons. It'll take total impoverishment and kids coming

everyone loves an idiot like bush and his coattails are so strong, this country
is in the
dark ages. Without noticing, we have become war mongering racists, who love an

depressing to realize that over 50% of the voters in this country are STUPID. I
thought we
were a country of educated intelligent individuals, not a bunch of stupid

I am so pissed off right now
it is not funny. I just heard on the news that Bush The Selected told his
staff, "no
gloating" MOOSE MANURE!!!! From judges to the environment, we are going to
be screwed royally. Drilling
in Alaska, abortion outlawed, prayer in public schools, etc. We are in for a
nightmare. What is wrong with the
Democratic party? The economy is in the toilet, we are at war and they act like
scared chickens around Bush!
The schmuck stole the election. Are the American people that stupid to not know
